A belt is the thing you wear most and think about least.
Most are bonded leather with a coating on top. They crack at the fold within a year, and you replace them without ever deciding to.
This one is not built that way.
The foundation, done properly
Full-grain leather from LWG-certified tanneries, leather-lined for structure and comfort. A polished metal pin buckle. Hand-painted edges. Minimal enough to work with tailoring and with jeans, without asking for attention in either.
Made in São João da Madeira
Cut and assembled by hand in small runs, in Portugal. We produce here because it lets us stand next to the person making the piece and change something when it is wrong.
It will look better in five years
Full-grain leather does not wear out, it wears in. Worn daily, it darkens and shapes to you. The buckle marks are the record of how you used it. Wipe it down now and then. That is most of the maintenance it will ever need.
