One square of leather, four press studs
Close the four corners and it forms a tray, 15 by 15 cm, deep enough for keys, a wallet, a watch and loose change. Open it and it lies flat at 17.5 by 17.5 cm, which is how it travels. There are no cut corners and no stitching. The structure comes from the thickness of the leather itself.
Made in São João da Madeira
Full-grain leather from LWG-certified tanneries, lined in recycled microfibre so nothing you drop into it gets scratched. The edges are painted by hand in the opposing colour, Legacy Green on black and black on Legacy Green, and the lining follows the same inversion. The LGDO logo is debossed into the centre of the base, visible only when the tray is empty.
It will look better in five years
Leather this thick holds its shape and records everything. The corners soften where they fold, the base darkens under whatever you set down every night, and after a year it will not look like the one in these photographs. Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it out of direct sun.
